Why do you think Best Places to Work is important?
As an organisation the engagement and wellbeing of our team is top of mind for us. We strive to provide a work environment in which our team can thrive. Creating that environment and continually assessing and refining it is part of our DNA. We recognise that our people spend most of their waking hours with us, and so it’s key that we provide them with the best place to work. It’s just the right thing to do
Why did you enter the Survey?
We currently have annual pulse check and engagement surveys which we use to improve our people experience at Finance Now, but Best Places to Work provides a great opportunity for us to benchmark how we stack up against other employers, and to ensure we’re continually innovating and improving. It’s also a good way for us to showcase our culture and people experience to the wider marketplace. The survey results were shared with our team and have prompted some great conversations around how we double down on what we do well, and what we can do in the areas where we have opportunities to improve.
Briefly discuss what makes your business a great place to work?
We care about our team as whole people, including their lives outside of work. We provide a work environment where people are encouraged to grow and develop, where we celebrate diversity and are an inclusive culture, and we champion our team’s wellbeing. A quarter of our core business measures include metrics that are people focussed, ensuring that our culture and the people experience our team have at Finance Now live up to what our team deserve. A key part of this is giving our people a voice, and listening to their feedback, working with them collaboratively to create the workplace we all want
