Why do you think Best Places to Work is important?

Best Places to Work is a great opportunity to be benchmarked against other kiwi employers and to find out what works for us and what works for others. It is an opportunity to showcase what we do well to potential future employees as well as remind our current employees that we’re a leading employer. We can show off our positive work environment as there is high employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention throughout our business. This ultimately impacts productivity, performance, and endorsement of HOT from our employees. In the future, it will also influence the attraction of talent within the industry, enhance our employer branding, and give us a competitive edge in the market.

Why did you enter the Survey?

To check in with our team(s) about where we’re sitting and to get feedback on what is and isn’t working. At the same time we were interested to learn about other companies and what their employees value, as well as be able to showcase what we do well. The survey was an opportunity for our employees to provide feedback to the organization about their experiences and to share their insights into what it is like to work for HOT and to positively contribute to HOTs reputation, hopefully influencing attraction of talent within our industry.
